Hurt My Back on the Golf Course

Posted by: Jack Russell on: December 10, 2016

It was really beautiful, just as it always is down in the desert. At least it is always beautiful down here so long as you are always close to the shade and you have lots of ice and hydration. I was having a great day on the course, aside from hitting the ball well I was getting all of the bounces too. There was a Phoenix chiropractor in the next group when it happened. I finally hit a bad shot which landed right under the lip of a sand trap. I was standing in loose sand on a steep incline. My back leg gave away when I swung. It was really rather embarrassing as the ball struck the lip and rolled backwards as I was falling down. Read the rest of this entry »

Well Enough to Go Back to Work

Posted by: Jack Russell on: November 27, 2016

I was out of work for two and a half weeks after my accident. Of course it was really scary and for a little while I thought that I was injured a lot more seriously than it was. I do not know if I had a concussion or not, but for a few minutes I was really in a strange state. I could not tell you exactly what I did right after the accident and apparently I was behaving as though I had been knocked senseless. I saw a couple dozen doctors and then a Bakersfield chiropractor after I got out of the hospital. I am still not able to get around without crutches, but I went back to work this morning and managed to catch up with the most vital stuff that I needed to do. Of course I work for a small business and there is not any other person there who can replace me. Read the rest of this entry »

Playing sports comes with pain and injuries. It is unlikely to have any career, even a hobby career, in sports without ever having an injury. Even your average fisherman gets stuck with a hook at least once. However, some injuries are more serious than others. Contact sports can be particularly brutal. I participate in amateur kickboxing, and I have medical doctors and Sacramento chiropractors managing my care on an ongoing basis. For athletes that play at a pro intensity, it is an ongoing thing to measure risk and manage injuries.

When you get hurt, you need to heal. That includes therapies and rehabilitation. Most of it is on an accelerated scale. Read the rest of this entry »

Suffering is No Way to Live

Posted by: Jack Russell on: November 27, 2016

Chiropractic medicine is considered an alternative medicine focusing on the mechanics of the musculoskeletal of the human body with a primary interest in the spine. It’s easy to take for granted the constant wear and tear that we place on our bodies. The spine and our joints are especially susceptible to the constant weight of our body, the force of gravity constantly pulling at us and the natural friction of our movements. A Vacaville chiropractor have created for themselves an important niche in medicine by offering the potential of relief from a common symptom affecting American workers; lower back pain. I was involved in an auto accident about two years ago. Prior to that, I had never been to the doctor for more than a checkup, so having extensive injuries changed my life. The doctors thought I would lose my right leg at first, but they were able to save it. I had multiple broken bones, and I was in a coma for nearly a week. During this period, my wife had so much to deal with. She finally hired an auto accident injury attorney in Sacramento so she could focus on me rather than everything else associated with the accident. Read the rest of this entry »

I have always had a lot of hair. When I say that, I mean everywhere. Being female, that’s not always a good thing. I’ve been thinking about having some type of hair removal procedure for some time now. In the past, I was worried about side effects or what the end results would look like. My friend recently had it done, and she assured me that things have changed over the last few years. Hair laser hair removal in Los Angeles is safe, and incredibly effective. She encouraged me to give it a try. Since I’ve been wanting to do it for so long, I decided to follow her advice and see what type of information I could find online.

It turns out that my friend was absolutely correct. In a short amount of time, a lot of advancements have been made in laser hair removal. In the past, I was concerned with the amount of time it would take before I could go out in public again. With modern medicine, it takes no time as all. It’s safe and effective, even on my face, which was another one of my concerns. Read the rest of this entry »

It Was Nice to Be Able to Get Extra Help

After learning that I had an infection in my jaw bone, I was a bit stunned. I had no idea that such a thing was possible. I knew that people could get a blood infection, but that’s about it. What also surprised me is the amount of pain that I was feeling. I learned I could get geniune painkillers, Kush, HGH and more as well. That was good to know, because I felt that I was going to need to look into that.

It all started when I let a bad tooth go too long without it being looked at by a dentist. By the time I finally decided to have one look at my tooth, I learned that my tooth could not be saved. For the first time in my life, I would need to have a tooth extracted. I knew that this was a big deal, especially since I would need to have some sort of replacement work done at some point so that I wouldn’t be left with a gaping hole in my mouth where I need to be able to chew food. Defining the Dental Phobia
A dental phobia is also considered to be dental anxiety. This is a fear and a raised anxiety that will come with the receiving of dental care. This entire phobia can lead many individuals right on a path of avoidance. They may opt to avoid dental care so that they do not experience the feeling of being terrified.

The Fears Can be Overcome

Sharing Chiropractic Pain Relief with Others

I do not like to see people suffer in pain needlessly. I am not a really outgoing person, but I can strike up a conversation with someone in line at the grocery store. I was in line with a man in front of me who was obviously having a backache. If you have ever had an aching back, you probably can recognize the moves a person in pain will make. They have to keep shifting their weight, and they try to lean on things such as shopping carts. I spoke up telling him about my San Jose chiropractor when he turned around and I saw his face.

You could tell by his expression there was pain. He had his head cocked to one side because of the neck and shoulder pain with his upper back hurting. He asked me if it was that obvious that he was hurting. I told him it was to me at least, because I know what it is like to have back pain. Read the rest of this entry »

My Family Cares Too Much

Posted by: Jack Russell on: February 5, 2015

Most people don’t want to have someone watching them at all times to make sure that they don’t get any kind of injury. I hate it when people try to coddle me because I’m old and they want to treat me as if I’m a brittle piece of glass. I may be old, but I can still hang with the young ones. Of course, that still doesn’t mean that I don’t take a spill from time to time. I didn’t want my family worrying about me when I became injured, so I got Medical Guardian service.

The service acts as a way to watch over me when there is no one else around. If I should get some kind of injury that I can’t handle, the service will send someone to my aid. It’s like I have my own personal angel that can bring me to safety. Read the rest of this entry »
